The aim is to familiarize trainees with the concept of intensifying two of the world's most widely used separation techniques: distillation and solvent extraction. After a few basic reminders of these classic unit operations, this training course covers the fundamentals of intensification specific to each operation, then the various most recent technologies: reactive distillation and extraction, DWC and HIDIC columns, centrifugal devices as well. in distillation (RPB) than in extraction, compact - miniaturized technologies, extraction-membrane coupling ...
